  1. Backup your existing BIOS: Before modifying the BIOS, create a backup of your existing BIOS. This can be done using a PS2 BIOS backup tool, such as PS2 BIOS Dumper.
  2. Prepare a USB device: Format a USB device (e.g., a USB drive) to FAT16 or FAT32.
  3. Create a BIOS update folder: Create a folder on the USB device named "PS2BIOS" or "BIOS" (depending on your device).
  4. Copy the BIOS file: Place the SCPH70012BIN file in the BIOS update folder.
