Today the Phex development group is happy to announce the release of Phex 3.4.2.
This is a minor release, yet it contains some tasty improvements.
The changes since Phex 3.4.0 are:
- Less wait time for the first connections,
- Strong leafs become Ultrapeers,
- Automatic reconnect on network failure.
And a few squashed bugs.
But even though Phex made good progress, we want it to evolve even faster, and
so we're searching for additional developers who want to join us in development.
If you want to contribute to Phex, please come into our forums or meet us in IRC via #phex @ freenode.net. |

We just started two new polls to find out into which direction you want Phex to move.
Please take a moment to read through the polls and select your favourite feature.
We've divided the question into two sets.
The first one includes features which can be implemented in half a year.
The second one shows four big items which will take a lot of time and energy to implement, so we need to be careful which direction we take.
Those are big decisions for Phex, and we want to include you into these decisions, so please vote to make your input count.
If you want to add more feedback, or if you want to offer your help, please visit us in the Phex-forum.
Also we're always searching for people who like to help us in shaping the Phex-Wiki into a universal knowledgebase for Phex and Gnutella. |

Hitman World Of Assassination -dodi Repack- ((hot)) | Certified
Agent 47: The Ultimate Collection – HITMAN World of Assassination [DODI Repack]
For most users, DODI offers the best balance of size, speed, and reliability.
All DLCs Included: This version typically includes the Deluxe Pack, Seven Deadly Sins expansion, and the VR access files. HITMAN World of Assassination -DODI Repack-
If you're interested in downloading HITMAN World of Assassination -DODI Repack-, be sure to check out reputable sources, such as the game's official website or well-known gaming forums. Always ensure you're downloading from a trusted source to avoid any potential risks or malware.
Players can also interact with NPCs (non-player characters) in the game, who often have their own agendas and motivations. This adds a layer of depth to the game world and creates a more immersive experience. Agent 47: The Ultimate Collection – HITMAN World
Inclusion of all DLCs (Downloadable Content) and updates in a single installer. Ease of Use:
Check for Updates: DODI frequently releases "AIO" (All-In-One) patches to bring the game to the latest version, which is crucial for modes like Freelancer. While it operates outside the bounds of official
- 2.1 Compression Algorithms: The repack employs high-efficiency compression algorithms (often variants of LZMA or Zstandard). These algorithms compress the game’s resource files—textures, 3D models, and audio—into highly compact archives. In the case of HITMAN, DODI frequently achieves a compression ratio of roughly 40-50%, reducing the download size to approximately 30–40 GB.
- 2.2 Selective Downloads: HITMAN is structurally unique because it houses three distinct games within one engine. The DODI repack leverages this modularity. Users can choose to download only the data for HITMAN 1, 2, or 3 (renamed to World of Assassination). This feature allows users to curate their installation, saving bandwidth on content they do not intend to play.
- 2.3 The Reconstruction Phase: A defining characteristic of DODI’s releases is the installation duration. Because the downloaded files are compressed, they must be decompressed and "unpacked" onto the user's hard drive. This process is CPU-intensive. The DODI repack essentially trades download time for installation time, shifting the bottleneck from the network interface to the processor.
While it operates outside the bounds of official licensing, it highlights a growing divide between the storage requirements of modern AAA gaming and the infrastructure available to the average global consumer. As games continue to grow in scope, the demand for highly compressed, modular repacks like those produced by DODI is likely to persist, challenging developers to optimize their own official distribution methods. |
